Three vehicle crash and car on fire on M4 in Newport
THREE vehicles are involved in a crash on the M4 eastbound around Newport.
One lane is closed and a car is on fire between junction 27 at High Cross and junction 26 at Malpas.
There is very slow traffic and delays to junction 28 at Tredegar Park.
The emergency services have been called and are attending to the vehicles on the hard shoulder.
Crews of firefighters from Malpas and Maindee were called to the crash at just before 7.50am.
