POLICE are appealing for two Cardiff Bus passengers to help with their investigation following the death of a Newport woman.
Eighty-three-year-old Joan Davies was killed after being hit by a bus outside the Hilton Hotel on Kingsway in Cardiff city centre on Tuesday May 17
The incident occurred at around 11.15am.
A 50-year-old man was arrested in connection with the crash, but has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
The bus involved was the number 36 service, travelling from Gabalfa to the city centre.
Officers are hoping to speak to two women who were on the bus at the time of the crash, or any other witnesses or anyone with information.
The first passenger was sat at the back of the bus is a white woman with blonde shoulder length hair and glasses resting on top of her head.
The second passenger was sat in the middle of the bus is a black woman, with dark shoulder length hair, carrying a black bag and wearing a black jacket. She also had a light coloured top and a blue skirt.
