DO you think your daughter, friend or sister deserves to be named the South Wales Argus Prom Queen?

The Argus is looking for our very own Prom Queen and is offering two great prizes for our winner.

Open to girls aged 15 and 16, who are taking their GCSEs this year, we want your nominations for who should be crowned the South Wales Argus Prom Queen.

All you need to do to be in with a chance of winning, is to send us a photograph and tell us, in up to 200 words, why she deserves to win our great prizes.

We’ll be featuring the best entries on our website and in the paper ahead of school prom season later this month.

Our winner will be treated to a summer berry afternoon tea for two people at the five-star Celtic Manor Resort.

Enjoy the laid-back elegance of a berry-inspired summer tea featuring speciality finger sandwiches, delicate hand-made cakes laced with floral and fruity flavours, and delicious buttermilk and vanilla scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam.

She will also be given a £25 gift card to be used for a cut and blow dry from the specialists at Mizz Congeniality Prom and Pageant hair and beauty, based in Cwmbran, to help get ready for her own school prom.

And the Argus will be sending a photographer to take professional photographs of our winner as well as featuring our Prom Queen online and in the paper.

You must be over 18 to nominate someone and must have parental permission to send in photographs.

You have a week and a half to enter with the closing date being Wednesday, June 15 at 5pm before a small team of Argus editorial staff pick a winner.

To enter, email your photo and up to 200 words to newsdesk@southwalesargus.co.uk along with;
