Quantities of the cannabis found by police
POLICE have arrested two men after seizing a cannabis farm at a home in Newport.
A 23-year-old man from the Newport area and a 31-year-old man from the Cardiff area have both been arrested on suspicion of producing controlled Class B drugs.
Officers attended a property on Brynglas Drive at approximately 3.55pm on Wednesday, June 29.
Gwent Police Inspector Richard Blakemore said:"We hope this gives out a message to the community that we are committed to tackling drug issues in Newport.
"I would like to urge residents, if you have any information about drug use or supply, please contact us on 101."
Both men are currently on police bail pending further enquiries.
