The motorbike was set on fire near to Ridgeway community centre.
A MOTORBIKE was set on fire in Newport in the early hours of Monday morning.
One crew of firefighter attended the scene and used hosereels to put out the fire, which happened near Ridgeway Community Hall at 2.08am.
Jennie Griffiths, head of South Wales fire and rescue control said the motorbike is believed to have been stolen. She said the fire was deliberate.
