Firefighters have brought ther fire under control

A LARGE fire has broken out at a recycling plant in Crosskeys this morning.
Fire crews from Risca and Abercarn crews were called to the Newtown Industrial Estate at 6.54am, along with firefighters from Duffryn and Aberbargoed.
21 emergency calls were made about the fire where large amounts of wood and plastic are alight.
Two water bowsers from Maindee and Pontypridd are also being used.
Residents have been warned people to keep their windows and doors shut as black smoke is drifting across Crosskeys.
A spokeswoman from South Wales Fire and Rescue said crews currently have the fire under control and a JCB is helping move more materials.
