FOUR industrial estates in Blaenau Gwent have been targeted by ram raiders following incidents reported to Gwent Police.
Units at the sites – the Rising Sun in Blaina, Ebbw Vale’s Cwm Draw as well as the Crown Avenue and Sirhowy both in Tredegar – were targeted overnight on Monday, October 24 and Tuesday, October 25.
Two vehicles were stolen from the unit in Blaina were later found burnt out in the Nantyglo area.
Officers also found another vehicle, a silver estate car, which is believed to be the vehicle used in the ram raids Gwent Police are investigating the incidents and advising motorists to ensure that keys are kept separate from vehicles and out of sight.
Motorists are also advised to remove any items from vehicles and keep vehicles locked and secure at all times.
Anyone with information relating to the incidents is asked to call the police on 101 quoting log reference 58 25/10/16.
