London Road in Thrupp blocked after two-car accident
AN elderly woman and a man have been injured in a two-vehicle accident near Brewery Lane in Thrupp.
At 11.45pm a Volvo V40 and a van collided in London Road, two people were injured in the incident
An elderly woman in her eighties was a passenger in the Volvo and sustainted a hand injury and suffered rom chest pains.
The man driving the van sustained a head injury but it was not thought to be serious.
Ambulances were on the scene and the vehicles are awaiting recovery.
The A419 London Road is partially blocked close to the Renofix Garage due to the accident and there is slow traffic in the area.
