Drivers throughout Gwent and specifically on the M4 are being warned about reduced visibility due to the fog.
Fog is affected driving conditions between Junction 23 (M48) and Junction 36 (Bridgend), and along the M48 up to and over the Severn Bridge.
In Newport, visibility is reduced on A4051 Malpas Road around Malpas Road and A48 Usk Way around Old Town Dock Traffic lights.

A YELLOW weather warning for freezing fog has been issued for parts of Gwent.
Areas of freezing fog, some dense, are expected to form again during Tuesday evening and last into Wednesday morning.
Newport, Monmouthshire, Torfaen are set to be affected by the adverse conditions.
The Met Office warning was issued at 11am today and will come into effect at 6pm.
It will last until 11am tomorrow.
The chief forecaster's assessment reads: "Stagnant air will remain across the area, allowing fog to form readily.
"Frost deposited by the fog will give surfaces an icy covering which may be thick enough to make roads and pavements slippery."
