A NEWPORT man is looking to find the owner of a camera memory card which he found on a beach in South Ayrshire nearly 13 years ago.

Michael Jones was visiting the area on a day trip from Newport in 2004, when he found the card, but was unable to find the owner.

Last week by chance he found the compact flash card for a Canon camera in a cupboard and is now appealing to find the owner.

Holiday snaps of the Maldives and Porsche cars, dated between July and October 2004, are featured on the card.

Mr Jones believes he found the card on Ayr Beach.
