Monmouthshire Family Information Service (FIS) will help children to enjoy sporting activities with the Monmouthshire Games 2017.
The events will take place on Monday to Friday each day of the week, from 9am to 3pm.
The games include football, basketball and boxing, and aim to help children learn new skills, develop their confidence, meet new friends and enjoy fun through sport.
Activities will take place in each Monmouthshire Leisure Centre and are for children aged five to 12.

Visitors to Chepstow Community Hub and Library will have the opportunity to go on a bear hunt.
Louby Lou’s Storytelling comes to the library and will take children on a creative adventure with props, sound, costume and action to bring Michael Rosen’s book We’re Going on a Bear Hunt to life.
The session starts at 10.30am and 11.30am and is aimed at children aged three to 10. They also must be accompanied by an adult and the session costs £3 per child.

Chepstow Museum will be teaching children and visitors about clocks.
Next week, the museum will have locally-made Chepstow clocks dotted around for visitors to look at and learn about.
There will be an opportunity for children to design their own clock face and earn a clockmaker’s badge.

Blaenavon World Heritage Centre is holding a Wish Upon A Star event on Thursday.
There will be free poetry and craft activities for all ages based around making stars and exploring climate change.
