I SEE Natural Resources Wales is currently investigating the incident, the chopping down of two hundred trees at Pen-Y-Fan.
The same problem is happening at Halls Crossing, Woodfieldside, where about one hundred trees have been cut down, and should be replanted.
Planning officers allow this lane to be used by more traffic endangering other peoples lives, when their own paper states, dated 13 February 2013, it is unsuitable to serve further development and would create increased traffic hazards to the detriment of highway safety.
The proposal is therefore considered to be contrary to the provisions of policy CW3 of the councils adopted local development plan of 2021.
The proposed development would result in permanent loss of woodland habitats.
It is therefore considered that the proposal is contrary to the provisions of policies SP10, CW4 and CW6 of the local development plan up to 2021.
