WE ARE pleased to present the winner of our first ever South Wales Argus Camera Club picture of the month competition.
Sponsored by the Parkway Hotel and Spa in Cwmbran, Matthew James, from Cwmbran, was selected as the winner of the competition, for his brilliantly opportunistic photo of a colourful visitor to his garden.
He wins an afternoon tea for two at the hotel.
It was an incredibly hard decision, with a small editorial team pouring over some truly outstanding pictures. Featured here are some other fantastic shots.
The South Wales Argus Camera club Facebook group is an online forum for amateur photographers across the region looking to get their images in print.
Since we launched, more than 400 people have become members.
