Bank holiday sunshine predicted
GWENT is due to clock up some of the highest temperatures of the year so far entering into the bank holiday weekend.
The met office has predicted that temperatures will rise from 21 degrees in Newport on Wednesday.
It has also been predicted that Abergavenny will reach 23 degrees on Friday.
