Former First Minister's funeral to be held next week
THE funeral of Rhodri Morgan who died last week will be held on Wednesday, May 31.
The first minister's ceremony will be conducted by humanist celebrant Lorraine Barrett at 11am and the public are invited to attend.
A full order of service will be announced in the coming days.
Following the funeral ceremony at the Senedd there will be a service of committal at the Wenallt chapel, Thornhill Crematorium on Thursday, June 1 at 2pm.
People wishing to attend the funeral ceremony at the Senedd are advised to arrive early to allow for security checks to be carried out.
A book of condolence will remain open at the Senedd for people to pay their own personal tributes.
