AN ACCIDENT on the M4 is causing serious delays for traffic.
The incident happened between Junction 24 Coldra and Junction 23A on the M4.
Two lanes are closed and emergency services are at the scene.
One eyewitness said: "A number of cars were stopped and they had some damage. Traffic was at a standstill."
The Welsh Ambulance Service say they received a call at 18:59
A spokeswoman said: "We sent a BASICS (British Association for Immediate Care) doctor, a rapid reponse team and an ambulance to the scene. Everyone was treated at scene and nobody was taken to hospital."
A spokeswoman for South Wales Fire Rescue Service said: "We received a call 18:58 about an road traffic collision involving seven vehicles.
"We sent two fire engines and one rescue tender. There were no persons trapped, and we made vehicles and assisted the ambulances."
