Iestyn Page has joined the South Wales Argus' parent company Newsquest as the head of digital advertising for the Welsh region.

Iestyn, who joins from a digital marketing agency, said: "I am very much looking forward to assisting businesses in the area getting the most out of their digital marketing."

Formerly the head of digital sales for Wales Online under Trinity Mirror for six years, Iestyn won a number of awards by helping businesses get the most out of the products on offer and helping improve their online presence.

He said: "Most recently I was head of business development for a local digital marketing agency based in Cardiff, upriseVSI, which was recently announced as one of the top 50 fastest growing firms in Wales. I worked with a mixture of small businesses and large organisations on their website, branding, SEO and software solutions."

Iestyn said: "One of the biggest attractions of Newsquest was the quality of the products it offers and its measurability helping businesses identify the best products to help improve their digital marketing.
