THIS year’s Monmouthshire Business Awards has attracted a record number of sponsors, according to organisers.
Entries are flooding in for the awards, which have been expanded this year to cover the ‘old Monmouthshire’ as it was prior to 1965.
This year’s awards have gone ‘back to the future’ with entries accepted from businesses in Monmouthshire, Newport, Caerleon, Cwmbran, Ebbw Vale, Usk and Caerphilly.
Category sponsors, who will also judge the awards, have been named as Hicks Logistics, Yprentis, Melin Homes, Hello Starling, Business in Focus, Spectrum, Reid Lifting, Coleg Gwent, Celtic Manor Resort, A2Z Computing and Monmouthshire Housing.
Main sponsors are Torfaen County Borough Council, Broomfield Alexander, Chepstow Racing and AluK.
Award sponsorship is still available. This costs £1,750 plus VAT and all sponsors will have a table for ten at the awards presentation evening and gala dinner on October 6, hosted by broadcaster Hywel James. Last year’s event attracted almost 400 guests.
Entries for this year’s awards close at 5pm on July 31.
