Cable theft leads to train delays in Gwent
DELAYS of up to 20 minutes and some cancellations on Arriva Trains Wales between Hereford and Newport (South Wales) due to incident involving the theft of signalling cables between Abergavenny and Cwmbran.
Tickets being accepted on CrossCountry, London Midland and Virgin Trains services. Due to this incident on Sunday night, services will continue to experience delays. Emergency signalling arrangements are in place.
Affecting trains between Cardiff and Manchester.
