21-year-old man in court after police drug operation
A 21-year-old man has appeared in court charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
Salman Ali, of Somerton Park Road, Newport, appeared at Newport Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
He was remanded in custody and will next appear in court on August 3.
This brings the total now charged as a result of a recent Gwent Police drug operation in Pill to 10 people with 8 people being remanded in custody and two people being released on conditional bail pending future court dates.
