Eight-year-old boy badly injured after being struck by a stone in a children's park
AN 8-year-old boy has been left with a scar after being struck with a stone at a park in Pontlottyn.
Gwent Police have launched an appeal after the boy was hurt in the incident at 12.30pm on Monday, June 12, at Sunny View play park.
The boy sustained a cut to the head requiring medical treatment which has left him scarred.
Anyone who saw the incident or has any information is asked to call 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting log number 222 12/06/17.
