THIS month’s South Wales Argus Camera Club picture of the month competition is sponsored by the Bryn Meadows Golf Hotel & Spa, near Maesycwmmer.
The winner is Stephen Davies, for his stunning shot of “the canyon” between Abertillery and Pontypool.
He will receive an afternoon tea for two in the hotel's Blas Restaurant.
Blas Restaurant at Bryn Meadows Golf Hotel & Spa is open all year round, and serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, an evening a-la-carte menu and traditional roasts on Sundays.
In 2016 it was nominated and shortlisted as Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year at the Welsh Food & Drink Awards.
This year the team have already been nominated as ‘Foodie’s Favourite’ at the Business Growth Awards, and ‘Hotel Restaurant of the Year’ at the Food Awards Wales.

Traditional Afternoon Tea is served daily at the Bryn Meadows Golf Hotel & Spa between 1pm and 5pm, Monday to Saturday and between 3pm and 6pm on Sundays.
A selection of finger sandwiches, an assortment of cakes, homemade scones with clotted cream and jam are served with unlimited freshly brewed tea or coffee.
