THERE was fun for everyone at a dog show held in Badminton Park last weekend.
Families came from far and wide to the annual Beaufort Hunt Open Day Terrier Show and Family Dog Show, which took place on Sunday, July 30.
Terriers of every type were paraded around a show ring, with entries from across the country.
Captain Ian Farquhar and Matt Ramsden, joint masters at the Beaufort Hunt, gave a talk about their work and hound breeding and gave members of the public the chance to see the Badminton kennels.
The family dog section had several hotly contested novelty classes, with the fancy dress class being a particular favourite.
The day ended with a rather manic terrier racing, which was unexpectedly interrupted by a larger spaniel type dog.
A spokesman for the show said that the day "went very well".
