THERE was fun for everyone at the Beaufort Hunt Open Day terrier and family dog show held at the end of July.

The event, at Badminton Park, was capped off with a display of the hounds my joint masters Captain Ian Farquhar and Matt Ramsden.

The pari also talked about their work and breeding and there was a chance for spectators to view the kennels.

Jo Aldridge from Beaufort Hunt said: "Terriers of every type were being paraded in the show ring with entries from far and wide.

"The family dog section had hotly contested novelty classes, the fancy dress class being a particular favourite.

"The day ended with the normal rather manic terrier racing, one race being subject to a rather large and unofficial sudden entry.

"It was a fun day for all."
