A POLICE appeal has been launched after a man allegedly threatened the public with a knife in the Friar’s Walk shopping centre.
A Gwent Police spokeswoman said the public were threatened at around 9.43pm on Tuesday, August 8.
She said: “The man is described as being approximately 35 years old and 5ft 6in. He was wearing a green top carrying a beige bag.
“We are keen to speak to the man in the CCTV image as we believe he can help us with our enquiries”.
If you recognise this man, or you were in Friars Walk and saw anything, call Gwent Police on 101 quoting log 511 8/8/17.
