THE chance to explore the Sculpture Park at the magnificent grade one listed Lypiatt Park is here again.
An annual celebration of architectural and cultural heritage takes place at Lypiatt on Sunday, September 10 from 2pm to 6pm.
Stroud Civic Society is pleased that the Chadwick family have once again agreed to open the wonderful Lynn Chadwick Sculpture Park to the public.
The park, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, is also a nature reserve and provides a magnificent setting for 32 of Lynn Chadwick’s finest works - the house and garden are not open. Admission is by pre-booked ticket only.
The tickets are free of charge and an application form can be collected from Stroud Tourist Information Office from August 29.
For applicants who live out of the area, contact the tourist information office on 01453 760960 and they will email you an application form.
This week-end is part of England’s European Heritage Days, a Council of Europe initiative which sees similar events taking place in 44 countries.
