LIAM Gallagher will follow up his Leeds Festival appearance last month at Bramham Park by playing Leeds First Direct Arena on Sunday, December 3.

This will be the Oasis singer’s first visit to the Leeds Arena in solo career mode after playing new numbers and old favourites in his Leeds Fest set ahead of the October 6 release of his debut solo album, As You Were.

The album will be issued in digital and CD standard and deluxe formats as well as in standard 12” and limited-edition coloured 12” vinyl formats, and a special boxset will combine a coloured vinyl copy of As You Were with an exclusive 7” of For What It’s Worth, a print designed by Klaus Voorman, the artist behind The Beatles’ Revolver album cover, and more collectors’ items. Everyone who pre-orders the album will receive instant downloads of Wall Of Glass, Chinatown and For What It’s Worth.

Gallagher wrote or co-wrote every song on As You Were, working with Dan Grech-Marguerat and other key collaborators such as Greg Kurstin and Andrew Wyatt. All the songs are directed at something or someone, setting the record straight or giving Gallagher’s side of the story.

Tickets for December 3 go on general sale from 10am tomorrow at firstdirectarena.com or on 0844 248 1585.
