A CAR has hit a fence outside a school in Newport this morning.
Two vehicles crashed this morning on Nash Road, with one of the vehicles hitting a fence outside Lliswerry Junior School.
A spokeswoman from Gwent Police said they received a report at around 9.20am of a crash involving two vehicles on Nash Road, Newport.
She said that officers were at the scene.
A member of staff from the school confirmed that a car had crashed into its fence.
A spokeswoman for South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to a crash in Nash Road Newport at 9.25am.
"On arrival, crews assisted one person from a car complaining of neck and back pain. The casualty was handed to on site ambulance personnel.
"Crews from Maindee and Duffryn attended and a stop message was received at 10.47."
