There was a medical emergency at a vets in Newport this week - and our Dog of the Week Oscar saved the day!
On Wednesday the staff at Newport City Dogs Home took a call from their vets. They had a poorly dog who was in need of a blood transfusion, and they needed a calm, steady dog to donate blood, there was no time to lose.
The staff rushed Oscar straight up to the vets and he stood steady as a rock while the vets drew blood straight from his veins.
Now that’s what we call a superhero!
Oscar saved a little dog’s life this week - who is going to save him?
