Emergency services at the scene of accident that has closed roads in Newport
A MAN was taken to hospital following a crash in the city.
The incident took place on Caerleon Road in Newport near the junction to Bath Street.
An eyewitness said that the road was closed during the incident.
A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 4.45pm and attended a RTC where a man fell off his motorbike when it went into a wall. An ambulance and doctor was on the scene.
“He was transposed to Royal Gwent but a further update is not available at this time.”
