ONE of Newport's most terrifying attractions will unveil new horrors this Halloween.

Owners of the Escape Rooms David and Elinor Daniel will announce their newest game, dubbed HOST, on October 31.

They will also reveal when the public will be able to test the games for themselves on the night.

The attraction below the Newport Market sees groups of people locked in a horror-themed room and working together to solve puzzles and mysteries within 60 minutes – while facing untold horrors.

Siblings David and Elinor are keeping the details of the new game close to their chests, and will announce the full details with an event including a screening of sci-fi horror classic Alien in the gallery space above Newport Market on Halloween.

In a statement they said: “We’re very excited about our newest gaming experience.

“It’s a completely different theme to our first room which has been really well received.

“We’re keeping the exact details hush-hush, but can reveal the title for the new room is HOST.”

Tickets to the event are free but are limited. Street food on the night will be supplied by Sicily to Seattle and Tiny Rebel will be on hand to provide drinks.
