EXPERIENCE the legendary live sound of the ultimate country music icon when the Johnny Cash Roadshow rolls into St David’s Hall, Cardiff, on Saturday October 21.

Get ready to hear all the hits from Ring of Fire to I Walk the Line with stunning attention to detail across a breathtaking 50-year career. Plus, this is the only tribute show that is officially endorsed by the Cash family!

There’s an extra sprinkling of magic too in this perfect production. Award-winning frontman Clive John plays some original JC harmonicas, which were gifted to him earlier this year. He’s also had a beautiful Clive Gibson guitar hand-made to replicate the one played by the man himself. There are only three of these invaluable instruments in the world too – one in the Johnny Cash Museum in Nashville, one made for Joaquin Phoenix for the brilliant biopic Walk the Line and now one in Clive’s possession. This means that this spectacular show captures the unique spirit of Johnny Cash unlike any other tribute!

Since his death in 2003, fans of Johnny Cash have appreciated his incredible body of work more than ever. This show not only encapsulates all his timeless solo classics including his last ever release Hurt from 2002, but also features his beautiful duets with his wife June (perfectly portrayed by Jill Schoonjans) plus a handful of hidden gems.

Johnny Cash left behind big shoes to fill, but Clive John always relishes the challenge and replicates every nuance of his character in uncanny style. This year’s production promises to be the biggest one yet with further contributions from the ‘Carter Sisters’ and the ‘Roadshow Horns.’

Join Johnny on his country-rock journey and follow him every step of the way with the help of amazing video projection capturing all the evocative images from an unforgettable era.
