ANYONE who witnessed an incident in which a man drove up to an 11-year-old girl and asked her to get into his car is being asked to contact police.
The girl was walking along Llanfabon Drive in Trethomas, near Caerphilly, at about 6pm on Wednesday, October 5, when the driver of a small red vehicle approached her and asked her to get into his car.
The 11-year-old, ran to her friends and called her parents. She was not harmed.
The man is described as in his 40s or 50s, balding and with a large build.
Police are investigating and are carrying out patrols of the area, and have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
