GWENT Police are appealing for information to help identify a man who attempted to use a counterfeit £50 note at the Co-Op store on High Cross Road, Rogerstone.
The incident occurred at approximately 3pm on Monday, September 25 and officers would like to speak to the man in the CCTV images in relation to this.
He is described as being approximately 6 foot 2 inches, of big build, with brown curly hair and he spoke with an Irish accent.
