Pontypool Round Table Fireworks Display

A POPULAR fireworks display will return to Pontypool Park next month, with thousands of people expected to attend.

The event, organised by Pontypool Round Table, will be synchronised to Disney and Dreamworks music and there will also be a short childrens' display before the main display.

Gates open from 5.30pm, fireworks start at 7.00pm and all money raised goes to local charities and groups.

Organisers advise people arrive early for the professionally organised display which is support by Torfaen CBC. Refreshments will be available.

Visitors should pay on the park gates and prices are for children (3-15) are £3 while adults (16+) pay £5.

Family tickets(three children two adults) are £15 and children under three can enter for free.

No fireworks or alcohol are to be taken into the park and sparklers are not allowed on the rugby pitch.

Trevethin Matters Firework Display

A FREE fireworks display will take place this weekend in Torfaen thanks to the fundraising successes of a newly-formed community group.

The Trevethin Matters group worked with the community to organise the event, raising the £3,000 needed to pay for the fireworks alone.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 28, from 6.45pm at the Cold Barn Farm Community Centre in Trevethin, with a range of activities for the family.

This includes live entertainment, a delicious hog roast and barbecue, hot and cold drinks and various competitions.

Raffle tickets will also be sold on the night for £1 a strip with several prizes on offer.

Visitors are advised not to bring alcohol or sparklers for health and safety reasons.

MONMOUTHSHIRE

Caldicot Castle

Fireworks displays will blast off at Caldicot Castle on Sunday, November 5.

Using the iconic castle walls as the backdrop, the display lasts for over 20 minutes against the backdrop of a mini festival between 4:30pm and 8.30pm.

There will be live music and entertainment from Capital FM, children's funfair rides, a licensed bar and performances from fire dancers.

With lots of tasty winter treats to enjoy, wrap up warm and join us for another great family night.

Tickets are £7.50 per adult, £4.50 concession for under 18s and children under three can enter for free.

Tickets must be printed out and provided at entrance, with the unique ticket ID clearly visible.

Undy AFC Fireworks

Don't miss the Annual Undy AFC fireworks night on Sunday, November 5, at the Undy AFC ground.

Gates open at 4pm with fireworks estimated to start at 5.30pm. There will be a sweets stall, BBQ, hot drinks and bottle bar available for refreshments.

Entry for adults is £5, £2 for under-16s/concessions/OAPs.

Monmouth Rotary Bonfire and firework display

A fireworks display will take place in the field next to the Monmouth Rowing Club on Sunday, November 5.

Burgers and hotdogs will be available between 6.00pm and 7.30pm with a bonfire lighting at 6:30pm and firework display from 7:00pm.

Last year, the bonfire raised about £3250 for local causes and tickets are £6 for adults with children under 15 getting for £3.

Abergavenny Round Table fireworks display

On November 5, a fireworks display will return to Belgrave Park in Abergavenny with pyrotechnics set to Disney music.

Gates open at 6pm and the event includes food, drinks and an a funfair.

From 6.30pm there will be a Disney sing along starring Moana, Belle, Rapunzel and Elsa.

Pay on the gate. Adults £5, Children £3.

Organisers remind visitors there is no parking and recommend parking in the town car parks and taking a short walk to the event.

CAERPHILLY

Caerphilly Castle firework display

This year's free fireworks display run by Caerphilly Town Council at Caerphilly Castle will take place on Saturday November 4 starting at 7 pm.

Best viewing areas are Crescent Road and Dafydd Williams Park. Admission is free but there is a charity collection for Parkinsons UK and Popsy.

There will be a temporary road closure on Crescent Road between 5pm-9pm and no access from Nantgarw Road. No parking will be allowed in the area.

Temporary car parking will be available at Ysgol Gymraeg Caerffili school, in Pontygwindy Road. Allow sufficient time to get to the viewing areas as there will be additional security.

Safety sparklers are banned at this event.

BLAENAU GWENT

Blaenau Gwent Fireworks Display, Ebbw Vale

On Sunday, November 5 from 6pm, a fireworks display will take place at rugby and cricket group, Eugene Cross Park, in Ebbw Vale.

For over 20 years the annual display has been giving money to many local charities and will have entertainment, local celebrities, food & drink and plenty more for all the family.

Fireworks start at 7.30pm and discounted tickets can be bought online ( www.bgfireworks.co.uk) or from Ebbw Vale Police Station, or businesses Carini's in Beaufort Rise, E&S Stores in Badminton Grove, Keith & Phil Furniture, in Ebbw Vale and Smart Signz in Tredegar.

Other outlets include Brynmawr Town Partnership Shop in Ebbw Vale, Alpha DIY in Blaina and Llanhilleth Institute and The Coffee Bean in Abertillery.

Ticket costs in advance are £3 per person or £10 family (2+2).

On the gate tickets are £4 per person and no family tickets are available.
