ART and creativity is the central theme for a special weekend of events.
The Art on the Hill will take place this weekend on the west side of Newport and will feature open houses, events and exhibitions.
One of the events is an hour of ambient improvised sound, tunes and images from NP20 at St Woolos Cathedral.
Musicians and artists Red Zip and Steven George Jones will be performing and they are asking people to send in photos of Stow Hill and the NP20 area for the special music and image event.
Musician Julian Hayman is one of the three who will be playing and he said the images will be shown as they play and that they will inspire their music.
The event will take place on Saturday from 2.15pm to 3:15pm.
