Power restored after power cut hits part of Gwent
THERE was a power cut last night that affected homes in the Risca area.
People living in the area reported that whole Risca area was without electricity.
A spokeswoman for Western Power Distribution said: "It appears we had a problem with a contact in one of our pieces of equipment.
"All repairs have been completed , apologies again for any inconvenience caused."

There are currently homes without power in the Tone Road area of Bettws "due to an underground cable fault."
