A GIANT guitar used to advertise a music festival has been found after it was stolen.

The 10ft-12ft wooden guitar, which was made around three years, was found by a farmer around one mile outside the village on Friday morning.

The Hood Memorial Hall village committee were contacted and the guitar was returned to its place on the village green by Sunday, in time for the Devauden Music Festival which starts on Friday, May 18.

Sarah Trim, from the committee, said they were "over the moon" that it had been found in time.

She said the guitar, made by her husband, Matt, and children Floelyn, eight, and Brereton, seven, was not damaged and is in good order.
