THREE incidents of a man exposing himself to children in Caerphilly county borough have been reported to police over the past two weeks.

All three incidents involved a man wearing shorts exposing himself in the presence of children between 4pm and 5.30pm.

The first took place in Bryn Fields, Pontllanfraith, on Thursday, May 3, and the following two in Pennar Lane and in the lane to the rear of Panteg Terrace, Newbridge, on Sunday, May 13.

The same man is believed to be responsible for all three incidents. He is described as white, aged between 30 and 40, between 5ft 6in and 5ft 8in and of a skinny build. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a black t-shirt, a black sweatshirt tied around his waist, black shorts and black trainers.

All episodes were witnessed by children playing in the area. Although the man did not approach or speak to the children, he made no attempt to conceal his actions.

Police have increased patrols in the area and have appealed to people to remain vigilant.
