TRAFFIC problems are now easing on the M4 eastbound approaching junction 28 (Tredegar Park), though congestion remains near the slip road.

TRAFFIC remains very slow on the M4 eastbound back to just after junction 30 (Cardiff Gate), a distance of some three miles, though it has eased coming off the A48(M)
The AA is describing the delays as "severe" and gives the average speed on this stretch as currently 10mph.

TRAFFIC is very heavy on the M4 eastbound between junctions 28 and 29, with queues back along the slip road to junction 28, as the Tredegar Park roundabout improvement works continue.
Slow traffic stretches back beyond junction 29 (M4, A48M).
