HOLLYWOOD star Michael Sheen attended an event to thank a charity for the work they do.

Trac2 held its annual Evening of Thanks on May 18 in the Trevethin and Penygarn Sports and Social Club.

The event was attended by the community, volunteers, staff, MP Nick Thomas-Symonds and councillors.

Mr Sheen pledged his continued support for the work done by line manager Sue Malson, her team of volunteers and partners.

Mr Sheen added: “Sue leads a team, a community, a network of partners all stepping in to help people who have no other options in place. And for that, we should all give thanks.

Ms Malson said: It was a very successful powerful emotional evening. Michael’s speech was very moving, he speaks from the heart and believes in the work Trac2 does and appreciates what we do.”
