AN APPEAL has been made for information about the theft of a specially modified remote control car from a vehicle.
The Losi Rock Rey machine was stolen from the boot of a Skoda Octavia black estate car parked in Nightingale Terrace, Pontypool, at some point between 8.30pm on Tuesday 8th May and 5pm on Thursday 10th May 2018.
The ‘rock racer’ model features custom paintwork, body panels and graphics, alongside an orange roll cage and a number of modifications, imported mainly from the USA. It is valued at approximately £1,700.
When stolen, it was not working so would require spare parts to be fixed.
Anyone with information about this theft can call Gwent Police on 101, quoting crime reference 138 of 11/05/18. Alternately, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
