Armed officers called to knife incident in Newport
GWENT police have confirmed they were called to a disturbance involving a knife in Newport.
The incident happened at 9.05am on Friday, June 22, where police say they were called to reports of a disturbance involving a knife in Waltwood Road, Llanmartin.
Armed officers attended the scene and arrested a 34-year-old local man on suspicion of suspicion of affray. Nobody was injured during the incident and investigations are ongoing.
