Cwmbran-based law firm Rubin Lewis O’Brien has appointed a conveyancing solicitor and a legal executive to its well-established residential property team.

Theresa Arkless and Andrew Williams-Jones join the team based in Gwent Square at a time where the department gets ready to bid farewell to long-standing team member and partner Chris Davies who is retiring after more than 30 years of service.

Samantha Strong, head of conveyancing, said: “We will shortly bid farewell to Chris Davies who is commencing his well-deserved retirement at the end of the month.

“In anticipation of this, we strengthened our residential conveyancing team with the appointment of Theresa Arkless and Andrew Williams-Jones. They have already become an integral part of the team, adding to the experience that Jade and Juliet were already providing. I am very pleased to say that the feedback from both clients and local agents has been extremely positive.”

Theresa completed a law degree at the University of Bristol in 2007 before attaining her CILEX diploma in 2013 to become a graduate legal executive. For the last five years, Theresa has been working in a national legal services firm.

Andrew, who attended the University of South Wales, became fully qualified in 2017 and worked for a small number of high street legal firms prior to joining Rubin Lewis O’Brien.

During his training and since qualifying Andrew gained experience in wills, probate, family law, as well as landlord and tenant matters.
