THE Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms across Wales.
On Friday, between 11am and 8pm, heavy showers and thunder is expected across the country.
The Met Office says the weather could cause minor road delays, as the rain will affect driving conditions.
Some areas may be at risk of power cuts and flooding, although other parts of Wales may remain dry.
Areas in the south east that will be affected include: Newport, Torfaen, Blaenau Gwent, Monmouthshire, and Caerphilly.
