THE family of a 21-year-old who died following a car crash in Brynmawr early on Saturday morning have paid tribute to him as "a great source of joy".

Bradley Lukins, of Blaina, died following the crash in Blaenavon Road at 3.05am on Saturday, July 14.

In a statement his family said: “We would like to thank all the hospital staff at Nevill Hall Hospital for everything they did for Brad. We would also like to thank everyone for their kind condolences and everyone who has sent cards and flowers.

“Bradley was an amazing boy and a great source of joy to everyone who knew him. The family are obviously devastated and would now like time to grieve.”

Following the crash two men, both aged 21 and both of Blaina, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. One man has been released under investigation, while the other has been released with no further action.

Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed the crash or may have information which could help in inquiries to contact them on 101 quoting log 111 of July 14.
