WELSH comedy superstar Rhod Gilbert is returning to the stage for the first time in six years.
The Carmarthen-born comedian will take his new show The Book of John on the road in 2019.
The show's description says: "A lot has happened to Rhod in the six years since he last toured. Almost all of it s**t.
"And just when he thought he’d hit rock bottom, he met a bloke...called John.
"This show sees Rhod as funny as ever, but like never before. The Book of John is raw, personal and brutally honest - no more lies, no more nonsense.
"This is Rhod, but different, the same, but not. Come along and see for yourself."
The 52-date tour will kick off in Wrexham on February 2, and will include two shows at at Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena of March 9 and 10 and two at London's Eventim Apollo on April 11 and 13. The final date is at Woking's New Victoria Theatre on July 28.
Tickets will go on presale at 10am on Wednesday, July 18, and general sale at 10am on Friday, July 20, at rhodgilbertcomedian.com
