PEOPLE living in the Ringland area of Newport are being urged to have their say on ambitious regeneration plans.
John Griffiths, AM for Newport East, has called on the residents of Ringland to come and view the upcoming regeneration plans for Ringland Centre and Newport City Council’s Newport East Hub.
The AM said it was " important" for people living in the area to be able to have their say on any regeneration.
Mr Griffiths said, “Next week, Newport City Homes are holding a drop-in session on the 15th of August from 2pm-7pm in Unit 7 of Ringland Shopping Centre for residents to come along and find out more about the exciting regeneration plans and have their say on the development proposals.
"I’d like to encourage residents to drop in to the session to hear all the information about the new centre because it is important that the people of Ringland have their voices heard in the upcoming plans.”
