THOUSANDS of people in Gwent are set to celebrate bonfire night over the weekend.
Here are just some of the organised displays: SATURDAY Caerphilly Castle fireworks display - display starts at 6.30pm and the display is free of charge. Attractions include a fun fair.
SUNDAY Abertillery Round Table and Rotary Club display at Abertillery Park - display starts at 6pm, tickets are £4 in advance and £4.50 on the gate.
Caldicot Chamber of Commerce display at Caldicot Castle - gates open at 5pm and the display starts at 7.15pm. Tickets are £5 adults and free for under 16s. Attractions include entertainers and a fun fair.
MONDAY Aberbeeg RFC bonfire and fireworks display at the club house - night starts at 6pm. Entry is free and there will be a barbeque.
Abergavenny Round Table display at Belgrave Park - display starts at 6pm and entry is free.
Caerleon RFC display at the rugby ground - display starts at 6.30pm, tickets are £2 adults and free for under 16s. Attractions include a barbeque.
Chepstow Round Table display at Chepstow leisure centre - display starts at 7.15pm and tickets are £3.
Cwmbran Stadium display - gates open at 6pm and the display starts at 7pm. Tickets are £4 adults and £3 children.
Ebbw Vale display at Eugene Cross Park - gates open at 6pm, tickets are £2.50 or £8 family tickets (two adults and three children.) Llanarth bonfire and fireworks display at Llanarth village hall - gates open 6.30pm and the display starts at 8pm. Tickets are £5 adults and £3 children.
Newport Round Table grand fireworks display at Newport Speedway - gates open 6pm and the display starts 7.30pm. Tickets are £4 adults and £3 children.
Pontypool Round Table fireworks extraveganza at Pontypool Park - gates open 6pm and the display starts 7pm. Tickets are £5 adults and £3 children.
Torfaen Mayors Appeal charity fireworks and buffet night at the Raj Gate Restaurant, Ponthir. Doors open at 5pm, fireworks start at £8. Adults £12.95 and all money raised goes to Amnesty International, War on Want and the Bangladesh High Commission Food Appeal.
Tredegar Round Table Firework Display at Tredegar Recreation Ground - gates open at 6.30pm, display starts at 7.30pm. Fireworks, bouncy castle, stalls and barbeque
