A YOUNG Newport man is appealing for contributors to a website detailing the history of Gwent communities.

Christopher Dally, 18, from Newport, set up the www.worldhistory.co.uk website in November 2006.

The site, which is packed with information about local and world history has received 300,000 hits since it was set up.

Anyone who would like to contribute information or articles should contact Mr Dally through the site.
